PRIVATE RESIDENCE – MONONA
Unique and creative lighting solutions were used to devise extravagant spaces for this lavish Old-World themed home. The development of lighting concepts which enhance and emphasize the comfort and coziness of the space sprung from the English style architecture of the home and property.
Projectors were hidden in coves above the bathtub and indoor pool to create a soothing effect of the water reflections. Striking floating ceiling elements were emphasized both with warm incandescent light and cool fluorescent white light, making the space versatile for tasks, yet romantic for intimacy. Grazing of textured wall materials provides a dramatic look, while soft and alluring cove lighting adds a subtle layer of lighting throughout the home. Lighting design was considered early, ensuring a cohesive design, including six separate custom fixtures.
