“Lightscape”, a dynamic year-round luminous attraction, is designed to be a place-making project to brand the street, celebrating Chicago’s historic State Street in a unique and exciting way. Sustainable LED “reeds” inject prairie influences along 7 blocks, replacing disposable holiday lights. Each reed is individually programmable and choreographed to music heard through sub-terranean sub woofers.
